Tulip Wolf Journal is an online art and literary journal celebrating LGBTQIA+ voices, mental health awareness, gender diversity, and the rich performance cultures of drag and burlesque.

We believe in the power of storytelling and art as tools for connection, resistance, and fierce joy – especially for those navigating the complexities of queer and trans life.

Our name reflects our spirit. The lush tulip, one of the first bulbs to bloom after winter, symbolises rebirth and resilience. The wolf is wild, instinctual and powerful. Together, they capture the mix of beauty and ferality we celebrate.

We invite contributions from anyone drawn to these worlds – performers, writers, artists, fans, family, allies, and creatives working in adjacent spaces. You might be a drag or burlesque artist, someone trans, nonbinary or gender-diverse, or simply someone whose story resonates with ours. We welcome the weird, the raw, the tender, the defiant, and everything in between.

Let your voice bloom. Let your wild out. Come join the pack...

Tulip Wolf Journal acknowledges and respects the Palawa people as the traditional and ongoing owners and custodians of the skies, land and water of Lutruwita.

We pay our respects to their elders both past and present and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.
