I started the Nada Glitches as I was grappling with my sexual identity. I faced a blank screen (not a photograph, my usual starting point). The nothingness was a place without society’s constructs of identity. Fearful yet freed, I conjured shapes and colors, whatever felt right. Untethered to the real world, I played with art as never before. The pieces that arose invite you to probe deeper, augmenting reality to reveal the dynamic, layered, fully realized self.

Bio: The Visceral Glitch is a Brooklyn-based AR Glitch artist working between digital and physical space. He has been creating manipulated photographic work since 2018. As a bisexual man, living between worlds has been a quiet constant. The glitch became a mirror. It holds tension without resolving it too quickly. It resists singular definitions. It allows contradiction to exist without apology.
